Houseneeds.com is the nation’s leader in energy efficient home heating products.

This credit is an incentive to help homeowners improve the overall efficiency of their homes, and thus decrease their dependency on foreign sources of energy.

The time to take advantage of the 2010 Federal Energy Efficient Tax credits is running out. For those of you who don’t know about it, there has been a Federal Tax Credit in effect for the last two years that was part of the Federal Economic Stimulus Package. This credit is an incentive to help homeowners improve the overall efficiency of their homes, and thus decrease their dependency on foreign sources of energy. The credit is for up to 30% of the cost of the product (including installation fees), capped at $1500.00.

Houseneeds.com, The Vermont-based internet seller of energy efficient, environmentally friendly heating and ventilation products, offers many products that qualify for these incredible Tax credits. Here are some of them:

Tankless Water Heaters
All water heaters with an energy factor greater or equal to .82 qualify for up to $1500.00 in Tax credit. Houseneeds carries several Tankless Water Heaters that qualify under these criteria by manufacturers like Rinnai, Takagi and Bosch. Besides the Tax credit some other benefits of going tankless include endless on-demand hot water, up to 40% energy savings, flexible installation options, significant space savings, clean hot water delivered at a consistent, safe temperature, “Green” advantages like lower greenhouse gas emissions and elimination of standby-loss, precise temperature control for safety and comfort, reduced risk of flooding compared to traditional tank water heaters, and a life span of 20 years or more.

Pellet Stoves
Both the Greenfire Pellet Stove and Pellet Stove Insert, with a Thermal efficiency rating of at least 75%, qualify for up to $1500.00 in Tax credit. Over 25 years of research and design has been invested in the new Greenfire line of pellet stoves. The result is a quiet, inexpensive and efficient home heater that fits perfectly into your lifestyle. Traditionally styled with the highest quality and durable components; Greenfires are built to last. Product engineers created a low maintenance, environmentally friendly product that burns efficiently. The Greenfire GF55and GFI55 have been tested and certified to the strictest clean air standards as set by the Environmental Protection Agency.

Gas or Propane Hot Water Boilers
All Hot Water Boilers with an AFUE efficiency rating of at least 90% qualify for up to $1500.00 back in Tax credit. The ONEX Condensing Boiler OX-160, available as in combination or heat only models, is the latest addition to the Ambassador line of wall hung boilers. It uses premix burner technology for combustion that is installed in a radial oriented 316L stainless steel heat exchanger. The patented pre-mix air/gas modulation system, domestic hot water heat exchanger, and electronic controls makes the ONEX condensing boiler at the top for performance. High safety ratings and low emissions make the Onex boiler environmentally friendly too.

Wood Stoves and Inserts
All Regency and Hampton Wood Stoves and Inserts have been tested and certified to the strictest clean air standards as set by the Environmental Protection Agency. In addition, all Regency wood products exceed efficiency standards confirming their approval for the US biomass tax credit for up to $1500.

Available in a wide range of sizes, styles, finishes, and colors, all our Regency Wood Stoves and Inserts are clean burning, energy-efficient, and come with the only Lifetime Warranty offered in the Hearth Industry. And for every stove sold, Regency will plant a tree in North America to offset carbon emissions.
