My best friend bought this unit about 7 months ago. Here is what I have learned. This is not a DIY self install unit. If yo do so you will void the warranty. The unit he has keeps flickering on and off s they are forced to reset the heater when taking a long shower. The service dept is useless. He has been basically told that the problems he has our his not theirs. I still want to install a tankless heater but I am not going to go with this model.

We find if your taking a shower, don’t anyone else in the house turn on water due to your shower will burn or freeze you, it also seems that you spend 1/2 of your time in the shower adjusting the temp. due to your shower water is constantly going too hot or too cold the whole time your in the shower.
