Ground Water Temperatures
Considering a tankless water heater? Well one very important factor is where you live. The groundwater temperature obviously changes as you move north. Florida and Minnesota will not have the same groundwater temperature. This is a very important factor in the type of tankless heater you buy.
Consider that if you live in the southern United States your groundwater might be 65 to 70 degrees while if you live in the north like Minnesota,Wisconsin,Canada your groundwater may be only 40 degrees. This must be taken into account when deciding what type of tankless heater to buy. The difference between groundwater temperature and tap water is the amount of rise that your unit will have to provide.
